Our saunas are uniquely crafted to deliver the deepest, healthiest, and most luxurious sweat possible.
While traditional saunas use heat to warm the air, warming your body from the outside in; infrared saunas, use light to create heat in your body from the inside out. Infrared light is invisible to the human eye, yet is powerful enough to penetrate the skin, muscles, joints, and tissues.
When you visit one of our infrared saunas, your body’s reaction is very similar to moderate exercise: your heart rate increases, blood vessels dilate, and sweating increases. When this happens, there’s an increase in blood circulation. The length of time spent in a sauna will also determine the exact response of the body. It’s been noted that the heart rate may increase to between 100 to 150 beats a minute. The physical responses described above, in and of themselves, often bring about health benefits.

NEAR, MID & FAR INFRARED

Each Lumos sauna features full-spectrum infrared technology. Full-spectrum refers to the entire infrared spectrum: near, infrared, mid-infrared and far-infrared.
Near-Infrared is the shortest wavelength and will be absorbed just below the surface of the skin creating a sweat that promotes healing and revitalization.
Mid-infrared is a longer wavelength that can penetrate deeper into the body’s soft tissue increasing circulation, releasing oxygen to reach injured areas.
Far infrared is the longest wavelength that penetrates the fat cells causing vasodilation, where the fat cells vibrate to expel toxins, resulting in the greatest levels of detoxification and stimulate your metabolism to aid in weight loss.
